Zachary A. Pashea

Mr. Pashea focuses his practice on representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. Zach has represented the injured in various courts throughout the Midwest. From injured railroad workers to dog attack victims, Zach has obtained millions of dollars for his clients. He has extensive experience in handling workers’ compensation matters throughout Illinois. Public interest work is also important to Zach. In 2017, he received the Pro Bono Rising Star Award from the 3rd Judicial Circuit and he has worked for the Missouri and Colorado Attorney General Offices.
Zach also has complex business litigation experience involving toxic torts and product liability and has worked for the Missouri and Colorado Attorney General offices.
Zach was born and raised in Madison County, IL. He graduated from Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis, MO and then completed a post-graduate year at Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, MA.
He went on to play Division 1 Lacrosse at Butler University before returning to the St. Louis area to complete his undergraduate degree in Psychology at Lindenwood University. While at Lindenwood, Zach was named an Honors Scholar and was inducted into Psi-Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology. He was also named a 1 st team All-Conference and Academic All-American lacrosse player. Zach attended law school at Southern Illinois University School of Law.
Zach worked a variety of jobs while in college and law school. During his summers in college, he worked as a railroad car restorer in Granite City, IL and an Anheuser-Busch delivery driver for Lohr Distributing. In law school, Zach worked as a legal intern at Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation, the Madison County Public Defender’s office and the Madison County State’s Attorney office. In addition to his legal internships, Zach also served as an Assistant Coach for the O’Fallon Township High School Boys Varsity lacrosse team.
In his free time, Zach relishes any opportunity to push his mind to the limits by competing in various athletic challenges. He is an avid rock climber, cyclist and endurance racer. He has completed numerous marathons, adventure races, off-road triathlons and marathon mountain bike races. Zach also volunteers for the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
